The remnants of the Agate Wolf Pack came down the hill, the white wolf, #471 and a black female. She was joined with this two-toned face wolf known as "Big Blaze". He had two other gray colored wolves with him... They were chasing a lone female wolf, believed to be from the Mollies Pack. This image was taken in Little America as the group came running down from the high ridges of Specimen Ridge. In this image, she shows recent signs of a fight... Most likely defending her right to her new mate, "Big Blaze" from the solo Mollies Pack female wolf. At the time of this image, she was 9 years old. Update: #471 was killed by the Mollies Pack in April of 2012 near the Tower Waterfall. She was 9 years old and pregnant at the time. This image is currently available in multiple sizes.
