Columbine 3

Photographer's Notes:
Only a few inches high, the Columbine is
one of the more beautiful flowers found in
    the Rocky Mountain forest.  Columbines
    attract long-tongued pollinators, such as
    butterflies and hummingbirds.  The
    common name "columbine" comes from
the Latin columbina ('dove like'), as it is
thought to resemble a cluster of 5 doves,
    drinking from the same source.
