Mammoth Hot Spring area most of his adult life... He caused quite the stir during the breeding season near the developed area of the Park Headquarters, but during winter, with testosterone levels lowered, he mellowed on the wind-swept Blacktail Plateau. This is one of the last images of the old bull, as he was killed not long after this by the Canyon Wolf Pack. He was estimated at 15 years of age at the time of his death in the winter of 2013.
