| Image Title: Bison Winterscape, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming Photographer's Notes: This is a look into the typical harsh winter climates of Yellowstone National Park. Bison must deal with the cold winds that whip across the open high elevation meadows. This picture was taken in the winter of 2007-08, in Gibbon Meadows. In the background you can make out some thermal activity near the burnt treeline of the meadow. The burn is from the summer of 1988. This image is currently available in multiple sizes.
